Simple technology requirements.

The current learning system is browser-based. Nothing has to be installed on the learner's computer.

Required

  • A reasonably current phone, tablet, Chromebook, Windows PC, Mac, or Linux computer.
  • A modern browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
  • A stable internet connection.
  • An email account that can receive the 8-digit verification/reset code.

Audio and microphone

A microphone is not required for the current text-based tutor. Speakers or headphones are also optional unless the learner uses future audio features.

If voice tutoring is enabled later, an inexpensive headset/earbuds with a microphone is sufficient. The browser will ask permission before using the microphone.

Recommended

  • Updated operating system and browser.
  • Screen width of at least a modern smartphone; a larger screen is more comfortable for long study sessions.
  • Headphones in shared spaces if audio features are used.

Not required

  • No special graphics card.
  • No locally installed AI model.
  • No high-end gaming computer.
  • No webcam for ordinary study.
Low-bandwidth designThe public site and learner interface are intentionally lightweight. Heavy AI generation runs on our external inference service rather than on the learner's device.
